Yorkshire frustrated by Jason Gillespie...

The Battle of England's past and present on the second day here. In the middle of Michael Carberry and just Rashid tiff, each trying to outdo the other. Outside the stadium, the director of Yorkshire Cricket, Martin Moxon, and stressed that the province had received any formal approach to Jason Gillespie about the vacant role of technical director for England.

He said, "We've had a little interruption with Paul Farbrace left and replace it with Richard Dawson," Moxon. "We have left and we've had to reinvent ourselves again. Clearly Jason has a tremendous passion for the team. It's a very high-believed by us. [Trainers loss] is frustration. Speculative with Jason, we will only have to wait and see. Nothing official did not happen, and we want Jason focus on Yorkshire ".

If a player aged 40 years is to choose to focus only on the Yorkshire then he will be pleased with the success that has been achieved his bowlers. Gillespie has a knack of getting the best out of the players likely. Liam Plunkett and Jack Brooks, both in the third season in Yorkshire. Plunkett may submit to the test team. Brooks has become an integral part of the Yorkshire attack.

Starting today 333-7, Yorkshire were frustrated James Tomlinson. Tim Bresnan fell early, caughtat gully for 28 as he tried an expansive drive. Jack never looked comfortable italics. He added five runs in 40 minutes, and he brought his nervy innings to end when Tomlinson trapped him LBW for 82. Brooks was the last man out, miscuing guard Fidel Edwards with wicketkeeper Louis McManus take diving fishing is fine.

Brooks then leave scratching the ground in frustration when it bombed two chances of slips Yorkshire Hampshire opened William Dawson. Leaning dropped sharply to his left put before Adam Lyth missed opportunity organization in the second slip. Bresnan claimed the first wicket, trapping Sean Terry underweight at birth, before battling with Carberry.

The biggest irony is that Plunkett, ruled out for disciplinary reasons, can be effective in this stadium. Bresnan got a strange ball on the rise, and it was hard to get away when he threw a good length. Anything too full due; anything less than boundary. Will Rhodes pulled to break the 74-term partnership between Carberry and Dawson, Dawson scratching to first slip while trying to defend a good length ball. Yorkshire has to chipping away, with Brooks refused to acting commander James Vince LBW for six. Will Smith was walking back to the pavilion next ball, caught at first slip while trying to withdraw his bat.

Rashid threw better as the day progressed. At first he was too short and smashed for two sixes. Carberry has denied with more luck than skill as Carberry swept directly to Pujara at midwicket for 97. Brooks pulled Sean Ervine for Steve Patterson at the border before Rashid claimed two wickets late. Gareth Berg was caught in the slip of the time he was initially seeking forward before Andre Adams swept the brainlessly to Andrew Gale at the point.
