West Indies and Windward Islands wicketkeeper-batsman Andre Fletcher has supposedly been captured at the Douglas Charles air terminal in Dominica on ownership of ammo, Dominica News Online (DNO) provided details regarding Thursday.
As per the news report Fletcher, 27, had been in Dominica honing with the Windward Islands group and was leaving the nation when he was captured. DNO reported he would show up in court on Friday.
Lockhart Sebastian, the Windward Islands chief, said he was mindful of the capture, as indicated by the report. "I will bolster him, I won't desert him … that is the employment of a chief," he was cited as saying by DNO.
Fletcher, a national of Grenada, has played 15 ODIs and 22 Twenty20 internationals for West Indies; his latest appearance being in a T20 amusement against South Africa in Durban in January this year.
