Mickey Arthur thinking about England coaching

Previous South Africa and Australia mentor Mickey Arthur concedes he would be arranged to examine the empty England position with the ECB.

Andrew Strauss' first demonstration after his arrangement as chief of English cricket was to sack previous mentor Peter Moores and Strauss has subsequent to uncovered Yorkshire head mentor Jason Gillespie is in the edge to supplant him.

"I think what England needs is somebody to take things by the scruff of the neck and lead the group," Arthur told the BBC.

Asked whether he would be occupied with taking the position, Arthur said: "frankly I'd absolutely hear it out and have a discussion around it."

The 46-year-old likewise accepts England are a more aggressive group with Kevin Pietersen in it.

"Doubtlessly, England are a weaker group without Kevin Pietersen," he said. "Positively England are a weaker group without having Kevin Pietersen in their main six."
