In the wake of the final blow, he noted that he wanted to place England and that England deserved its place. He stressed that he would meet Strauss and Chief Executive Officer of the European Central Bank Tom Harrison.

In his column titled "anger me in England deception," he said Petersen was devastated by the news that his international career was over for the second time after being re-England hopes to call an end. "Never have I hid my design to represent again England, and having played one of the best of my career roles, I must admit that I was riding the crest of wave.Yet now seems clear that Tom knows exactly what Strauss was going to tell me. I sent a letter Tom after the meeting and I asked him what happened to me in a knowing Hotels exactly what I was going to be told, and after if explicitly asked him if that would be the case. "You talk about confidence," I said, he simply replied: "I'm sorry you feel that way, Kevin."

Petersen was given assurances that the European Central Bank President Colin Graves in March on his recall to the Test team. In a radio interview, Graves said that a realistic chance for Petersen to share that his claim for a place in the England team to have to play county cricket. He pointed to the right-hander had been misled by everyone in the European Central Bank. "I went to the meeting expected Strauss to say that Englands order batting is good at the moment but if you continue to score runs and if there were injury then I would be in contention to play. I would natural to earn my call, but at least I will be eligible. However, no. Quite simply, I feel deeply misleading. Tom has tried to say that Colin Graves and misrepresented by the media when he said that there is a way back for me. "

"I'm afraid, as everyone can see clearly, and this is the biggest load of rubbish. I had two telephone conversations with Colin Graves, and it was crystal clear in saying I had to get on the province, the score runs and that there was a clean slate. When he comes to the post of head of the best players want to play for England. He told me that on the phone in two separate talks. He also reiterated to the national newspapers. "

It was Strauss said that Petersen offered a role as an adviser to the team ODI. He wrote, "It is true that after telling me I had no future for England, and offered Strauss me the opportunity to sit on the advisory committee for him, but I told him to forget it. How can you in one sentence says we can not trust you and then in the next attempt, and say that we We want you to be on the board you have such a wonderful cricket brain? "

Petersen said he will be traveling to India on Friday, will give him a good chance to calm down and evaluate his future. "I'm just sorry that he will not be put on the England shirt."
