PCB boss Shahryar Khan meets Jagmohan Dalmiya, proposes 5 Indo-Pak series in 8 years

After weeks of noise, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Shahryar Khan the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) President Jagmohan Dalmiya in Calcutta on Sunday met to revive cricket ties between the two neighbors.
Born in Bhopal former diplomat also he said he had come to Kolkata especially convey his congratulations to Jagmohan Dalmiya, who was recently elected as the chairman of Indian cricket.

He went on to emphasize that together have revived the series of the world's leading cricket in 2004 as well.

Dalmiya also sounded hopeful of reviving the series, but said that without government support, the series will not proceed.

The last series between India and Pakistan was held in 2012-13 when Pakistan visited India for three match One Day International and two Twenty20 matches International series. Pakistan won the ODI series 2-1, while the T20 series ended 1-1.

It was the first cricket tour of Pakistan from India in five years, after the infamous terrorist attacks in Bombay in 2008 paralyzed all bilateral ties between the two countries.
