BCB president Nazmul Hassan has said that Bangladesh are unrealistic to have another chief for the coincidental Test against India one month from now. The inquiry was asked after Mushfiqur Rahim, the officeholder chief of the arrangement, was completely reprimanded when Bangladesh let Pakistan free in the two-match Test arrangement prior this month.
On the other hand, Hassan said that the BCB would attempt to deal with Mushfiqur's obligations in the Test group, especially on the grounds that he endured a damage while keeping wickets in the first Test and it influenced his batting execution in whatever remains of the arrangement. Hassan said that Mushfiqur may need to pick between keeping wickets or driving the side.
"I don't think there necessities to be any change before the India arrangement," Hassan told The Daily Star. "Give us a chance to see what happens. In any case, we will without a doubt need to reach an answer before the current year's over. We feel that for a player to keep, bat and skipper a side together is excessively distressing. For him to remain behind the wicket throughout the day and after that play a long innings ... the entire situation can turn into a bit of requesting.
"We would need to diminish the weight on him. It's still not chose in the matter of how we are going to do that. Yet, the undeniable move would be for him to trade off with either one obligation: keeping or captaincy. We will talk about the issue with him before making any strides."
Hassan said that the captaincy and general execution in the Dhaka Test was "poor", however he couldn't recognize a trade for Mushfiqur.
"I for one felt that both the captaincy and the execution of our players in the last Test was poor," Hassan said. "We are not upbeat. The attitude of the players wasn't correct. One can't simply hit the ball and survive two straight days.
"With respect to Test captaincy, in the event that we can get a substitute, we will consider it. Anyway, as of right now of time we don't have any."
The BCB president had named Tamim Iqbal as the Test bad habit skipper while Shakib Al Hasan is the ODI delegate. Mashrafe Mortaza who was made ODI chief in September, has not played Test matches since 2009 because of wellness issues.
