It is likely to miss the tour of the West Indies in June this year, as it will coincide with the birth of his first child Australia fast bowler Ryan Harris. Harris said during a radio interview on Monday that coach Darren Lehmann has urged him to stay at home with his family.
"I spoke to Darren about it. Before it did occur to me and told me I would like to stay at home," said Harris Radio SEN. "The West Indies is the farthest place to get home from Darren wanted to make sure I am here and spend time with my wife. '

Missed Harris out on a spot in the World Cup in Australia as selectors chose to focus on keeping him fit for the series in England, where Harris had finished as the best player in Australia during a tour of the series in 2013.
