Sangakkara's farewell speech

Your excellency, the President of Sri Lanka, the good Prime Minister, Members of Parliament, all the well wishers and the invitees, fans, every one of my companions, my family - who are all here, which is an uncommon event that every one of us are as one - Virat Kohli and the Indian group, Angelo and my group, I have got such a variety of individuals to thank here.

I will begin off with my school - Trinity College, Kandy. Trinity College gave me a phenomenal ground there in Kandy. It was an astounding school to go to. I owe a ton of who I am today to the establishing and establishment I arrived. To all my mentors - I had such a large number of in light of the fact that my dad used to take me to such a large number of mentors when I was youthful - a major bless your heart.

To all my past skippers, to Sri Lanka Cricket, to all my partners, much thanks for everything that you've accomplished for me. The bolster that I got, the motivation, the drive and the dedication you have demonstrated to the diversion as well as to one another and to me, I esteem all, very. I am going to miss all that talk we had in the changing area.

To Charlie and Suthami Austin, much thanks for overseeing me. You've turned out to be a great deal more than overseeing, you've turned out to be crew. I was honored to be conceived as your kids. When I gaze toward the container, individuals that I've known for a long time, companions, family, everybody arrives and to see that they adore me is incredible and it will be my most prominent accomplishment.
