Australia sweep to comfortable win

Half-hundreds of years from Caleb Jewell, Matthew Renshaw and Jake Doran - the last two unbeaten - helped Australia Under-19s pursuit down their objective with very nearly ten overs to extra and take a 1-0 lead in the five-match arrangement. Britain Under-19s were played out for 206, Arjun Nair and Fletcher Seymour taking four wickets piece, and did not verge on shielding their aggregate.

Despite the fact that England's bowlers were sufficiently prudent in the first place, they required wickets, something the Australia openers denied them amid a stand of 107 in 26.2 overs. Jewell was the more forceful accomplice, coming to his half-century off 64 balls, before turning into the first of two wickets in two balls for Hampshire offspinner Brad Taylor.

Taylor had Jewell lbw for 69 and afterward knocked down some pins Jordan Gauci for a brilliant duck yet those continuous snippets of progress were all England could oversee in the field, as Renshaw proceeded in the grapple part while Doran struck seven limits to help complete things off.

Having decided to bat, commander Aneurin Donald would have been baffled to see his side released with 29 balls unbowled. Britain left the pieces rapidly yet lost wickets with equivalent scramble, slipping to 73 for 3 in the thirteenth over. That turned into 91 for 5, with Donald the third batsman to fall in the 20s, as offspinner Nair struck three times.

Callum Taylor top-scored with 35 and Brad Taylor made 33 not out but rather Tasmania seamer Seymour came back to complete off the innings and give wicketkeeper Tom Healy - child of Ian - two gets to run with several stumpings.
